Saraswati is an Indian poet, author, educator, and classical dancer. She is Co-Editor at The Winged Moon Literary Magazine on substack. Her work is widely published internationally: The Atlantic, Atlanta Review, SAND Journal, Dust Poetry, Acropolis Journal, The Hooghly Review, and others, besides, anthologies such as 'Thin Places, Sacred Spaces', Yearbook of Indian Poetry 2023, Black Bough's Christmas and Winter editions, In Fight, and others. Her debut poetry collection 'Drench Me in Silver' is out with Black Bough, UK in August 2025.

Saraswati has learned a range of dance forms, though Kathak is her true love. She has choreographed and performed for stage and films, and ran a dance company for young dancers in Delhi. Saraswati has recorded as a voice artist and taught a range of arts around the world - from literature to yoga.

She privately tutors literature and language to intrepid teenagers for the IB and Cambridge curriculum, and believes there is nothing quite like teaching writing and the works of great writers to become a better writer oneself.
Saraswati has lived in the Middle East, the USA, India and South Africa, and is currently editing her YA fantasy manuscript.
